Adolescent orthodontics is widely used from the ages of 11 and 18 and is probably the largest part of orthodontic treatments.
It is almost always conducted with multibrackets fixed devices and with the help, when necessary, of movable and removable options.
Possibly preceded by preparatory phases of interceptive orthodontics, adolescent orthodontics is often able to lead to a definitive outcome with the best stability characteristics for the specific malocclusion.
The majority of adolescents can be treated in orthodontics between the end of Middle School, with low invasiveness of the treatment on their relationship life in future years.
