Case 1

     In a 14-year-old female patient, two higher permanent molars were extracted to achieve the alignment of the teeth in addition to correcting the over-protrusion of the upper gum with respect to the lower one. The choice fell on two molars as the elements in question had undergone extensive fillings and devitalization.
