This 23-year-old patient came to the clinic due to pain and dysfunction in her right temporomandibular joint. After a period of mandibular repositioning and joint symptom, the patient underwent a second-class resolution treatment and covered bite.
Note how the presence of a third supernumerary premolar was used to solve the second class to the left.
The most important result was the opening of the bite and the stabilization of the mandibular position, an important element in reducing the risk of temporomandibular dysfunction. After the treatment, the patient presents a good dental alignment, and a good aesthetic.
