A malocclusion such as the one presented in which a 7-year-old patient in the early stages of crossed bite between two upper and lower incisors can be a severe periodontal risk for the lower incisor's health. The left lower central incisor is stressed by the wrong contact with the upper tooth. A brief upper therapy associated with chewing elevations allowed full resolution of the crossed bite, resulting in immediate improvement of the lower tooth gingival condition.
